So I'm sitting at my desk, and katie, my 3 year old, is playing with her leap pad, which is a computer-book that reads you stories and you can interact with a stylus. Katie has been begging for this book called "scooby doo and the case of the disappearing doughnuts". So she got it the other day and she's "reading"/listening to the book. I turn around to see her and she's got her hands over her ears. Now, realize that she can't read herself, so she's ONLY listening, and looking at the pictures. So I ask her "why do you have your hands over your ears?"
"monster!", she says.
But..but...I sputter. Forget it.
So as some people cover their eyes at a scary movie, she's covering her EARS at the scary parts of her book.
Too much.
